Parent of Deaf and Autistic Child
7 Years Old
Everyday, our son was involved in numerous incidents at school. As he got older the situation became more and more tense. See The Person, observed our son at school and spoke to us and his teachers to gather more information. Based on their analysis they developed strategies to allow our son to communicate and some key environmental changes. After the school were trained, it was like a switch had been flicked. To this day, he has not had one incident at school. This was truly transformative support which has changed ours and, most importantly, my son's life.
Neuordiverse with Disordered Eating
17 Years Old
I was really sceptical when I was told Yoshi would be supporting me. For years, I had been told I did not present like a typical eating disorder patient and I 'wasn't responding to treatment'. Yoshi actually took the time to get to know ME. She advocated for my wants and needs and worked with other health care workers, my college and my parents to make sure everyone was happy to try the new approach.
Within two months of working with Yoshi, I was no longer considered to have an eating disorder (after suffering for six years). I am so grateful that a professional actually saw me as a person rather than a case study.
Senior Occupational Therapist
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, I have had the opportunity to see many of my students benefit from Dr. Yoshi's expertise over the years. Working with a diverse range of individuals, I can confidently say that her input has made a meaningful difference in each case. Dr. Yoshi possesses a unique ability to foster independence while providing the right level of support when needed. Her exceptional skills and dedication to her work have led me to offer her a position on multiple occasions—a testament to the high regard in which I hold her expertise.
School in Surrey
Our school faced several complex behavioural challenges, and we quickly realised that traditional behaviour management approaches were not having the desired impact. We needed a fresh perspective—one grounded in expertise, evidence-based strategies, and a truly person-centred approach.
The training and support provided by See the Person have been transformative. Their team delivered tailored strategies that not only reduced challenging behaviours but also made our approach to behaviour support far less arduous and significantly more effective. The difference in our students and staff has been remarkable.
Such an effective service can only come from a team with a deep breadth of experience, and that is exactly what See the Person offers. Their knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to positive outcomes have made a lasting impact on our school community.
